Enough with all these bland descriptions of my everyday life it’s time I presented you with some things that are of actual interest to you. So from now on be ready to receive various differernt writings to satisfy your thirst for all that’s Darcy. These wil tak the forms of advice, reviews, maybe even stories if i can be bothered writing one. Now here’s the good bit. Tell me what you (yes you) want to see on this blog and if it’s half-decent and achievable then i shall try my hardest to do so.
Now for a bit of an update on what’s going on in my life. It’s been a week to the day since I started making my moonshine. It took a few days of experimenting with the temperature until I foud one that they yeast responded to well. HANG ON. In case you didnt know moonshine is it’s homemade alcohol. It’s a fairly simple process that combines water, yeast and sugar. Basically the yeast lives (yes, yeast is alive) in the water, eats the sugar and in exchange for this they produce ethanol. This ethanol needs to be separated from the mix once the yeast has made all the ethanol it can (more on this later). SO at the moment the yeast is doing it’s thing and in about a weeks tim it will be time to do the separating. I’ll update you on it as it unfolds.
