With the holiday from my family officially over now I thought that I should put up another blog to inform you all of how it all went. Well, it started off quiet enough on Thurday night with me nothing much happening and the highlight being eating dinner WHILST watching Friends. How awesome is that. Then on Friday after doing this again I totally got into it having a few drinks with a mate. Then out of the blue I heard the BANG of rocks being thrown onto my roof. I wondered to myself as I stood up to investigate, “Who might that be?”. It was my good friend Laura and her mates (msg me and I shall add ur names so you too may gain internet fame like her) coming to visit me. They were even so kind as to bring with them some tunes that they had acquired earlier that day for me to put on my very capable sound-system. I would never have thought that yr 10 girls could sing sooo loudly. The result of this being that I can’t get “Shake It” by Metro Station, “I Kissed A Girl” by Katy Perry and the infamous “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” by Soulja Boy out of my head. After being totally amazed/freaked out by their antics they up and left leaving me to collect myself from what was a thrilling evening.
After waking up at something like 2:30 in the afternoon after the night before I had to find my town to the train station so I could collect someone from the train station. After bumming around down the street for a while we made it back to mine waiting for others to arrive. Then the real ‘fun’ began. I emphasise the word fun because what followed was somewhat a step back from what I would classify as a good time after two certain people got shit-faced and acted like complete dicks. I did however enjoy the rest of the night with the other company that I entertained. QUOTE OF THE NIGHT: “Cry me a river, dickface!”
Other highlights of my weekend included my excellent Indian cooking, the results of such cooking and just realising that “I Kissed A Girl” song is about lesbians. Classic!
What else have I been up to apart from entetaining guests from far and wide you might be wondering? Well I have been entetaining the literary part of my brain by reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It’s so much better than how pop culture interprets it. And hot, kinky vampire chicks are cool, believe me! I also watched A Clockwork Orange for the first time. This is one of the best movies I have seen, I wouldn’t see in after a bit of the old in and out because it might give you a pain in the gulliver. And mayble not after some eggywegs or steakywegs either. (If the past two sentence didn’t make any sense you should hve watched the movie)
That will be all for today, I shall return later on with more tales from the life of Darcy and the activities he gets up to. Hoo Roo!
