Well, today I have the first of three exams. Calculus 1.
I am going to fail no doubt. Despite going to around 2/3 lectures. I would have had 100% attendance but as it started to get beyond me I gave up. Maybe I’ll try I again some other time. So today I got dressed, scotch in my water bottle and my game face on ready to take it in the butt.
It hasn’t helped that over the past week I’ve looked like an under done Freddy Kreuger with a red rash on MY ENTIRE BODY! Apparantly it’s either an allergic reaction to penicillin or the result of some virus.

Then there’s the other crap that’s been going on in my life. Some good and a lot bad. It all started as a result of me being a cunt of a drunk to those closest around me.
Got a kitty cat and that provided some mishaps which sort of opened the floodgates for something worse. But I got a kitty cat and I’m wrapped. It’s nice having something around when I’m bored/lonely.

Why is it that when you travel half an hour to get into the city, it feels exactly the same as a 5 minute car trip in the country? It’s pretty much the only downside of living here outweighed by all the positives.
I’m on the bus to uni craving red bull. Ahhh caffeine my good friend, we would have been right this morning if it wasn’t for me leaning on a chair then falling off cup of coffee in hand.
I think I might be a little more perky after I’ve got to uni.

Well, it’s been four months since I last checked in here. Life is chaotic. It seems the more stuff I get into the more shit I get into. School work is starting to get me unstuck, even though I promised myself I wouldn’t.
I used to be nice, a long time ago. Some days I wish I could go back to that Darcy. But alas, being nice gets you nowhere in life. Now I’m not saying I go up to random people on the street and fuck their shit up, no not at all. I’m just more cold. There’s warmth in there somewhere and it comes out among certain people… but others.

I’m torn between two worlds at the moment. One dominated by the new me who gets shit done by themselves and relies on nobody. And another that’s heavily influenced by the ghost of a former me.
The strange thing is they intertwine. For example, I had a love interest (rofl I know right) that liked me a lot. Now the old me wanted to be with her but he new, cold me didn’t out of fear of being tied down. Nothing really eventuated but there was a real spark. This was because a combination of both me’s saying “Leave her alone. She’ll be sad in the short term but happier in the long term because you’ll probably end up hurting her.”
Not even my mind wants to take bets on my happiness. But things turned out well. For her anyway, she’s got someone now and I’m happy for her. And I’m neither better or worse off.

Hopefully someday I’ll stop pushing people away and open up… And stop leaving assignments to the last minute.

Hurrah For the New Year

Well, long time no see Mr. Blogosphere. How are we doing today? Good I hope.

In my most-common hiatus’ I’ve achieved quite a lot in my life. I’ve moved away from home in Bairnsdale and out into the big, scary, wide world which will form the basis of my life in years to come. I’ve never been happier. I’ve got a house with a few awesome lads and ladettes (we don’t discriminate here) in the fancy white people suburb of Balwyn.

Did I mentioon that i’ve got a tattoo? Didn’t even faint while getting it done (well almost). And I can say it hurts more than getting your junk waxed. Yes i’ve done that as well. And yes, i nearly fainted while getting it done too.

Uni starts for me soon. So i’ve got to stop staying up to 5 in the morning playing with the new lappy and start sleeping… nah that can wait until next week.

I’m sure many adventures await me in the big smoke and I promise to tell you all about them. Sorry if you’ve been hanging out for my new blog, i’m sure you could’ve read some of my previous ones (like a certain blog stalker… YES YOU) to keep you enthralled in my writing. So tonight I decided to venture out in bairns-fucking-dale for a laugh. Laugh I did not. That is to say what I’m not doing at the moment. It’s shocking. Seedy guys dressed in Ed Hardy trying to crack on to peroxide whores whilst sipping alcohols that have most certainly been brewed in some hillbilly’s basement.
And the music… I think they’ve tried to cover up the shittness with bass. Far too much bass. I may be the loner in the corner but at least I’m proud of it. I’d be lowering myself if I was to congrugate with any of these d grade gossip girl wannabees. I’m just too exclusive for bairnsdale, there is one place I’d like to be tho. My mecca. My…. BANG Or in my room listening to joy division.
So many white pointed shoes.
If this is mediocraty than I’d rather be of my tits on drugs listening to good music with decent looking chicks anytime.

Maybe someone has a gun that I can use to shoot up the place. The hail of bullets might clear out the scum?

So I’ve recentely discovered that I can email blog posts through. So I’m sitting in a tyre shop on the hiptop killing time. Sad thing is that I had to look around to find the word ‘tyre’ written somewhere to work out how spell it.

This is how interesting my life is. For kicks I go into random car part shops and use their 2nd hand *scrap that* 3rd hand couches to blog off. It could be worse. I could be one of those people that goes into cafès and eats by themselves. That is possibly the saddest thing in the word.

Credit cards, cheating, lying. Don’t trust me. Especially with a steady line of credit cos i’ll snort that baby up like there’s no tomorrow.

Speaking of snorting… I have now been labelled a drug addict by some. Does it make it true if I don’t care what they think? Even if it was the best night of my life? Caffeine, alcohol, shiny things. These are all addictions but won’t probably freeze-frame and skip to an image of myself two years down the track trying to sell my kidneys for cash.

God facebook do something, I think i’ve arrived on the internet for the early bird special tonight. Hopefully it’ll pick up or i’ll have to go all Jackson Pollock on my wrists. It’d be worth it. But i’m not a fan of suicide. Plus I haven’t even used my new toaster yet. That would be the biggest tragedy of all. Ninety dollars worth better give me toast that tastes like getting a blowjob.

Living Well Is The Best Revenge. But it doesn’t make you feel as good as a punch to the ovary. Yet it seems to be working for Midtown

Festivals galore

So i’m counting down the minutes until Big Day Out tickets go on sale. I don’t want to miss out on them like I did when tickets for Falls sold out in like 5 minutes. It’s not all bad tho, i managed to get tickets for Pyramid Rock and Soundwave. So if I add BDO to the list i’ll have the thrice festival wise. I know you’re jealous.

Now how bout some discussion about them seeing as i can’t write three lines and say finish.

Well BDO was rumoured to have the likes of Bowie, Blink, and Placebo headlining and I kind of lost my shit. So naturally i was let down when the only huge band to be announced was MUSE and Powderfinger (huge AUSTRALIAN band). But there’s a 2nd announcement so hopefully there’ll be a few more suprises. With other medium acts like Rise Against, Peaches (what an orgasm would sound like if it was a performer) amongst others and smaller acts like Bluejuice it should be a pretty rocking day

Now for Pyramid. I started considering Pyramid when Falls sold out and i wasn”t that pumped but i got tickets anyway. But now i’m psyched due to their 2nd lineup announcement. It started out being Empire of the Sun, The Cat Empire and The Butterfly Effect being the local big acts with Architecture In Helshink getting a mention in there. Then Grinspoon and Biffy Clyro were added along with a whole other butt load with awesomely small acts British India and Red Riders getting me especially excited. But with the extensive artist list and New Years Eve much drunken fun will be had.

And last but certainly not least Soundwave.Let’s do it short and sweet

Bands i’m medium stoked for: Faith No More, Trivium, Eagles Of Death Metal, A Day To Remember

Now go and download the new Flaming Lips album Embrionic then go out and buy it too. Also AFI’s new one is worth a listen. maybe some reviews to come later on if you’re lucky. so bye now

Geez 5:22 AM in the morning. I think i prefer the hiptop time of 4:22 scrap that 4:23. Why am I up at this bitching hour? It could be the many months of working as a nightfill vampire, me not having any fucking work til Wednesday or my current caffeine addiction in the form of Red Bull. Starting to blank in and out now. slight urge to vomit. that’s probably the result of a 2 o’clock maccas run with the wife which entailed me leaping back over my fence with a considerable amout of saturated fat in my body.

oh and that’s the other thing, i’m annorexic. it’s all the rage in milan at the moment so i thought why the hell not. whoop another blank. so how bout an update on how i’m spending my gap year ey. sounds good. Well as usual it’s fucking pathetic. i’m working all days at the moment on a 32 hour a week contract. looks alright on the outside but it’s actually worse than before. i get paid less to work more hours doing a job i hate. so pretty much it’s a little taste of what i’ll be doing once i’m older but on a considerabely smaller paycheck and having to come home every night to face another barrage of abuse from the rents. with topics including how i waste all my money, not participate in family activities, why i don’t eat right and various other Dr. Phil topics. It used to get to me a bit at first but after a while it’s no different from when my dickhead boss rips me for wearing the wrong shoes to work. i guess i’m just plain not happy. this job. this town. this house. can’t wait to cut loose. these days it seems like my best times are those spend looking at the bottom of an empty bottle.

on a more up beat note i’ve got tickets to soundwave, pyramid and probably BDO and 4 redbulls left in the fridge which should get me through the next 2 days.

oh and sorry for the rather long gap (i hate that word) between posts. hoo roo
